Liberty of the Seas Cruises
Liberty of the Seas was the second Freedom class ship to be introduced and is the sister of Freedom of the Seas and Independence of the Seas. Because of this, she shares many of the same public areas, including the restaurants, sports facilities and the cantilevered whirlpools over the side of the ship. Having made her debut in May 2007, Liberty of the Seas was one of the largest passenger ships in existence until the Oasis and Quantum class vessels arrived in later years.
Children will love the fact that the ship features Royal Caribbean’s DreamWorks Experience. This means that characters such as Po from Kung Fu Panda and Shrek may make an appearance at breakfast and will also be available for meet and greet sessions at certain points throughout the day. Additionally, you will get the chance to watch some of the movies they star in when you take your seat in the 3D cinema.
Other great facilities include the H20 Zone, where children can splash around to their heart’s content; Jonny Rockets, a 1950s style American diner that serves the thickest shakes around; and the three-storey theatre, showing live stage performances.
Liberty of the Seas is currently sailing on west coast of America itineraries from Cape Liberty but will switch to Texas in November to offer Western Caribbean cruises of varying lengths.
