This solstice class cruise ship was built in Germany and launched in 2009. She underwent a refurbishment in May of 2019 which resulted in the addition of more suites, the Retreat Lounge - which is only for guests staying in suite cabins - a Gastrobar, and the Oceanview Cafe was redesigned. This ship sails five to 11-night itineraries in the south, east and west of the Caribbean.
This ship has many modern touches, including a partnership with the Michelin-starred restaurateur Daniel Boulud, cabaret shows instead of musicals and 90% of the cabins having a balcony. There’s also a large collection of modern art pieces scattered around the ship, one being the real tree in the atrium. Silent discos are held in the evenings for guests who wish to have a bit of fun after their evening meal.
