Just like Balmoral, Boudicca and Black Watch; Braemar is a small ship. But the range of open spaces and light-filled areas will give you a great sense space and ensure that you can still find your own little private corner of this intimate vessel.
With capacity for just under one thousand passengers and three hundred and seventy crew members, you will definitely not feel crowded about on board Braemar and the warm, friendly atmosphere will make you feel like you are truly part of something special. There are many different areas where you can grab something to eat or drink, and when you’re not sampling the delicious morsels from the kitchen you can relax next to the swimming pool on the top deck, find solitude in the welcoming spa, or simply watch the waves carry you forward from the observation lounge.
Sail to the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, or the stunning Norwegian Fjords (among other destinations) on a ship that isn’t held back by its size. This allows you to be dropped off in town centre ports, glide right through the middle of some of the narrowest fjords, and just generally venture to areas where larger ships cannot reach. Your accommodation will come in the form of a luxurious suite or generously sized cabin and will be a home from home during your time on the ocean waves.
In 2017, many of the restaurants and lounges were given an upgrade as part of a feeltwide project. New carpets and comfortable seating were installed in the Observatory, Coral Club, Grampian Restaurant and more. The Palms Café also receieved a complete overhaul.
