The first of a notable new generation of passenger ships launched by Fred. Olsen, the original Brabant was the largest and most fashionable of the Olsen family's ships with accommodation for 100 passengers. Boasting a chequered history, she was taken under German control during the Second World War before being re-taken by the British in 1945 and returned to the Fred. Olsen fold.
Built in 2006, the new 110-metre-long Brabant is a stylish and comfortable river cruise ship, with everything you need to make your holiday a memorable one: from bright and spacious public areas, to well-equipped bedrooms and ample deck space from which to enjoy the superb views. With just four decks – Haydn Deck 1, Strauss Deck 2, Mozart Deck 3 and Sun Deck 4 – and fewer than 80 rooms and suites, staffed by 40 crew members, Brabant has the intimate and friendly feel that Fred. Olsen’s guests have come to know and love on their ocean ships.
