Disney Cruise Line Announces Halloween And Christmas Itineraries For 2020
Disney Cruise Line has revealed their Halloween and Christmas itineraries for 2020 and they’re overflowing with festivities, so you best get booking next year’s family holiday for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Both itineraries sail from California, Florida, New York and Texas and visit plenty of tropical locations you’re bound to enjoy discovering.
Halloween On The High Seas
The Halloween sailings run from the start of September until the end of October. During your time on board Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic or Disney Wonder, whether it be a two-night or seven-night cruise, you’ll be overwhelmed by the amount of seasonal activities and decorations around the ship, including a unique pumpkin tree.
One of the many events you should attend is the Mouse-Querade costume party, where you can dress up as your favourite Disney character and see Mickey Mouse and friends in their Halloween attire. At this party, you can also enjoy ghoulish food and drinks while watching some lively entertainment.
If you wish to keep up your yearly tradition of trick or treating then don’t worry, you can still do this on board, along with plenty of Halloween themed games and activities for children of all ages. A villainous party is also hosted for the adults, so bring your costume along too.
If you choose to sail to Canada and Bermuda from New York, you’ll have the chance to go onshore and visit the pink sand beaches, enjoy extreme water sport activities and shop in the stylish stores of Bermuda.
Very Merrytime Cruises
The Christmas sailings will start in November and continue until the end of December. You can choose a stay from three nights all the way up to a 14-night cruise, so there’s something to suit each family. Your chosen ship will be fully decked out from bow to stern with festive decorations, including a Christmas tree in the atrium covered in multi-coloured lights.
During your cruise, you’ll be able to indulge in the special food and beverage surprises during the many merry parties, as well as watch the all-important lighting ceremony and join in plenty more festive games and activities.
One of the highlights on board is the Winter Wonderland Ball, when your favourite characters dress up in their best Christmas attire. Donald Duck and Daisy Duck make for a Mr and Mrs Claus double act by dressing up in festive costumes too.
Hop on board Disney Wonder in Texas and sail across to the Bahamas or Caribbean for your Very Merrytime Cruise. The Bahamian Cruises will take you to Disney Cruise Line’s own private island, Castaway Cay, where you can enjoy tropical weather and magnificent water play areas.
