Book Now And Save On These 2017 Cruises

Travel is definitely something for which it pays to be prepared. Not only will this mean that you make the most of the time in your chosen destination, but there are also some considerable savings to be made when booking months or even years in advance. Whilst it’s not always the case that securing your holiday early will result in discounts, these 2017 and 2018 cruises are definitely worth looking at now.

P&O Cruises

As of today, P&O Cruises’ 2017 program is on general sale. From March until November they will be providing a jam-packed schedule of seven and 14-night Mediterranean cruises, which include fly-cruise options from the island of Malta and the line’s usual offerings out of Southampton. There will also be a number of discovery cruises available which will visit the lesser frequented ports in this part of the world, such as Sorrento, Lithuania and Sardinia.

When the winter months roll around again, guests will have the chance to float around the Caribbean. Flagship Britannia will be sailing around the islands in the west of the region, whilst Azura will visit those in the east.

As far as world cruises go, P&O Cruises have announced three for early 2018. Arcadia will be sailing a 99-night itinerary that stops in ports all over the world, whilst Aurora will stage a 65-night trip to South America and Ariana will take guests on a 50-night journey around the Caribbean and North America.

Those who have sailed with P&O in the past can grab a 5% saving on these itineraries before the 31st of May 2016, a discount which rises to 10% on selected captain’s choice cruises. Plus, to make it easy for their passengers to enjoy fly cruises in 2017, the operator is offering departures from 7 different UK airports. This includes East Midlands, Glasgow and, for the first time, Bristol.

Queen Mary 2

For Cunard’s 2017 program, the Three Queens will sail a total 207,000 nautical miles, visiting 32 different countries in the process. This will include 22 of the line’s iconic transatlantic crossings, 30 departures from Southampton and 4 maiden ports - in Souda Bay on the Greek island of Crete, Sibenik in Croatia, Brindisi on Italy’s ‘heel’ and Praia da Vitória in Portugal. Particular itineraries will focus on certain themes or events, with cruises coinciding with New York Fashion Week and Space Week being joined by a special cruise to mark the 50th anniversary of the QE2.

As for Cunard’s 2018 world cruises, all three ships will embark on mammoth journeys that will take guests all over the planet and focus on experiencing UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Queen Mary 2 will travel for 120 nights, Queen Elizabeth will sail for 122 and Queen Victoria will offer a slightly shorter 75-night immersive trip to South America and the USA’s east coast.

The 2017 cruises will go on sale on Wednesday the 6th of April 2016, with the 2018 world voyages becoming available a week later on the 13th. Cunard are granting a 5% discount to all World Club members who book their holiday before 30th of June 2016.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

Black Watch

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines are great at offering cruises from the UK. Their 2017 program includes departures from no less than ten UK ports, with many more being visited on their popular British Isles cruises. There’s even the chance to experience the small Suffolk seaside town of Southwold when Boudicca anchors off the coast here in July. The line’s small ships are perfect for cruising amongst the Norwegian Fjords and the small Scottish islands and so these itineraries will once again feature in 2017. Alongside them will be a number of themed cruises, focussing on subjects like the America’s Cup in Bermuda, the Rio Carnival and the wildlife of England and Scotland.

As well as a number of adult-only sailings that will be provided throughout 2017, Black Watch will set off on a 108-night journey in January 2018. This ‘Wonders of the World’ voyage will visit ports in South America, New Zealand, Australia, Myanmar and India, providing guests with an opportunity to see the Great Barrier Reef, komodo dragons and Cuba.

Now is the perfect chance to book with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines as they are offering some great deals. If you choose any of their new 2017 cruises, not only will you get your tips covered for the duration of your holiday, you will also receive a massive 50% off any Freedom Fare for sailings departing between 7th October & 16th December 2016.
